In Memory of
Nunzio Tumino
We have dedicated our Italian Roots Canadian Hearts program to honour our late founder Nunzio Tumino. Mr. Tumino brought Italy into Canada for all of us to enjoy by bringing Italys culture and roots through food. A man who had drive, spirit, and charism was widely respected by everyone who crossed his path. He left a positive impact to everyone that was blessed to have met such a man.
His story is truly one that will live on, and has left a great legacy that is unmatched.
The Story Behind The Logo
It’s designed to replicate the authentic immigration stamp that so many Italians who had came to Canada received.
The symbol of the boat speaks volumes to each person’s journey to Canada as they had come by boat with their entire lives packed into their suitcase to pursue a better life.
And then to tie it all together, the words “Italian Roots | Canadian Hearts” explains the past and the present. Deeply embedded are the Italian Roots that they’ve brought to their new home in Canada, hence the “Canadian Hearts.”
